My name is Evan Ackerman, and I am a ’25 Computer Science graduate from Greenlawn, N.Y. I had the great pleasure of living in Dillon Hall while at the University of Notre Dame, and it was the greatest experience of my life. Thank you for making it possible for me to attend. The friendships and relationships I made are invaluable, and I couldn't have been in this situation without your help.
During my time at Notre Dame, I was able to study abroad in London, which was my first time leaving North America! I also interned at the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C., as a software developer, a role I was well-equipped for with the knowledge I gained during my time at ND.
On campus, I was a student assistant for the First-Year Engineering Program, as I felt it was important to be a role model for younger students. My first year in college was full of ups and downs, and I remember what it felt like to have older students that you could rely on. My time at Notre Dame only got better and better.
After graduation, I moved to New York City to work as a software developer for FTI Consulting! Once again, thank you for supporting my education and blessing me with the opportunity to be a part of the Notre Dame community.
